Recovery

Recovery refers to the process in which people are able to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities.

For some individuals, recovery is the ability to live a fulfilling and productive life despite a disability.

For others, recovery implies the reduction or complete remission of symptoms.

Science has shown that having hope plays an integral role in an individual's recovery.

PREA

The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) is a Federal Law enacted in 2003 to prevent sexual assault and sexual harassment in prisons and in facilities that house individuals under the supervision of the judicial system. Lebanon Pines is one of these facilities. SCADD has a zero tolerance policy toward all forms of sexual abuse and harassment in our facilities and programs. To report an act of sexual abuse or harassment, please contact the Lebanon Pines Program Director or PREA Coordinator at 860-889-1717.
