    A medically monitored detox and evaluation program delivered by medical and nursing professionals. The program provides medically supervised evaluation and withdrawal management in a permanent facility with inpatient beds. Services are delivered under a defined set of physician monitored protocols. Twenty four hour nursing observation, medical monitoring and treatment are on site. Counseling and case management services are available seven days per week in house.

    The Lebanon Pines program offers high intensity residential treatment for men with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders on a 56-acre campus in the southeastern region on Connecticut. "The Pines" provides a structured recovery environment with a focus on the psychosocial aspects of treatment. Residents work on recovery skills, managing the signs and symptoms of relapse and making meaningful lifestyle changes. Under the direction of our skilled and experienced staff, residents learn to recognize their disease, prevent relapse and develop skills for reintegration into the community.

    Pineview is our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with housing for men, designed to support individuals in their journey to recovery. The program includes IOP sessions five days a week, focusing on relapse prevention, recovery skills, emotion regulation, and identifying triggers. What makes PINEVIEW special is the housing component, which offers a safe and supportive living environment. Residents have access to meals, laundry facilities, and recreational activities, making it easier to focus on their recovery. The length of stay is personalized to meet the individual’s needs.

    SCADD’s Liberty House provides a sober living environment that is staffed 24/7 hours per week and offers case management to 13 men who need a safe temporary residence. The men in this program seek employment, reinvest in community activities, and attend mutual /self-help meetings. Psychoeducational groups are provided throughout the week for this population. Toxicology and breathalyzer results are utilized to ensure a safe and respectful recovery environment. This location is supported through the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

    A low intensity residential treatment program designed to assist and support clients in their recovery. Here clients have the opportunity to apply learned recovery skills, prevent relapse and promote personal responsibility. Clients will re-integrate into educational, vocational, familial, and social structures. Clients are expected to seek employment during their residency in this program.

  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

    SCADD’s Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) service combines the use of approved medications with behavioral therapies, providing a tailored approach to managing substance use withdrawal and supporting sustained recovery. This comprehensive approach for heroin, prescription drug, or alcohol use helps to normalize brain chemistry, block the effects of drugs, reduce cravings, and safely assist clients in regaining stable functioning. MAT is offered at all our locations.

    SCADD’s Primary Care offers services to adults, including preventive screenings, routine check-ups, and management of chronic conditions. With a patient-centered approach, our primary care locations promote overall health and well-being by emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and preventive healthcare measures.
