Shaun Cashman, friend of SCADD, and friend of Bill W. for over 40 years, was an inspiration to many. Shaun was a leading voice and advocate as the Business Manager for the Laborers' Local Union 611. He was also Business Agent for the Connecticut Laborers' District Council, and he was President of the Connecticut State Building Trades. Shaun completed the Harvard Trade Union Program in conjunction with Harvard Business School. He was appointed Commissioner of the Department of Labor for the State of Connecticut for six years under two gubernatorial administrations. It is an honor to carry on his legacy of service every year with our Memorial Golf Outing.
