In our comfortable inpatient setting, individuals receive safe, physician-guided evaluation and withdrawal management tailored to their needs. Continuous nursing support and medical monitoring ensure each person’s comfort and safety throughout the process. Counseling and case management services are also available seven days a week to provide encouragement, guidance, and connection as the first steps toward recovery begin.

The Lebanon Pines program provides high-intensity residential treatment for men living with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Located on a peaceful 56-acre campus in southeastern Connecticut, “The Pines” offers a structured, supportive environment focused on personal growth and recovery. Residents build essential skills for managing relapse triggers, strengthening their recovery, and creating meaningful lifestyle changes. Guided by a compassionate and experienced team, participants learn to understand their illness, develop healthy coping strategies, and prepare for a successful return to their communities.

This low-intensity residential treatment program provides a supportive environment to help individuals strengthen and sustain their recovery. Residents have the opportunity to practice the skills they’ve learned, build confidence in preventing relapse, and take meaningful steps toward personal responsibility. The program focuses on helping participants reintegrate into educational, vocational, family, and social life. During their stay, residents are encouraged to seek employment and continue developing the tools needed for long-term success in recovery.
John N. Dempsey Adult Behavioral Health
The Adult Behavioral Health Clinic provides compassionate, expert care for individuals seeking support with mental health and substance use challenges. Through individual and group sessions, clients receive personalized treatment and guidance tailored to their unique needs. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers comprehensive services five days a week, focusing on relapse prevention, psychoeducation, identifying triggers, and integrating recovery principles into daily life.

Liberty House

Liberty House offers a supportive, sober living environment for up to 13 men in need of a safe, temporary residence. Staffed 24 hours a day, Liberty House provides case management and ongoing guidance to help residents rebuild stability and independence. Participants are encouraged to seek employment, engage in community activities, and attend mutual support meetings as part of their recovery journey. Psychoeducational groups are offered throughout the week to promote growth and accountability, while routine toxicology and breathalyzer screenings help maintain a safe and respectful environment. This program operates in partnership with the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) offers a supportive and individualized path toward recovery, combining the use of approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies. This approach helps ease withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and restore balance so individuals can focus on healing and rebuilding their lives. Designed to support recovery from heroin, prescription drug, or alcohol use, MAT helps clients regain stability, confidence, and hope for lasting wellness. Services are available at all locations.
Primary Care
Primary Care services provide adults with compassionate, comprehensive support for their health and well-being. Care includes preventive screenings, routine check-ups, and ongoing management of chronic conditions. With a patient-centered approach, our team encourages healthy lifestyle choices and emphasizes prevention, helping individuals stay well and live their healthiest lives.
