The first step in understanding the cost of treatment is to review your insurance benefits. From there, we can help you understand any out-of-pocket expenses and explore grant-based options that may be available to you. If you don’t have insurance, we’ll work with you to connect you to coverage or create an individualized payment plan that fits your needs, so you can focus on your recovery with confidence and peace of mind.

Understanding Your Financial Responsibility

At SCADD, we know that thinking about the cost of treatment can feel stressful, and we’re here to make it as simple and supportive as possible. While you are ultimately responsible for the cost of your care, our team is ready to guide you every step of the way.

It’s important to be familiar with your health plan benefits, since your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. SCADD will bill your insurance as a courtesy, but you are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date information. If your information is incomplete or outdated, you may be responsible for any resulting charges. Sometimes your insurance company may need additional information from you to process your claim, and we’ll help you understand what’s needed.

You are also responsible for any required co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and services not covered by your plan. Our team is here to answer your questions and help you explore options, so you can focus on your recovery with confidence and peace of mind.
